Delete Your Account
We're sorry to see you go. Follow the steps below to permanently delete your SANKA account and associated data.
Warning: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your account directly from within the SANKA app:
- Open the SANKA app on your device
- Tap your profile icon or go to Profile
- Scroll down and tap Settings
- Tap Delete Account
- Confirm your decision when prompted
What Data Is Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:
- Your profile information (name, email, phone number, photo)
- Your messages and chat history
- Your friends list and friend requests
- Your location sharing history
- Your SOS contacts and emergency settings
- Your notification preferences
What Data May Be Retained
Some data may be retained for a limited period as required by law or for legitimate business purposes:
- Transaction records for in-app purchases (retained for up to 7 years for tax and accounting purposes)
- Anonymized usage analytics that cannot be linked back to you
- Data required to comply with legal obligations
Subscription Cancellation
If you have an active subscription, deleting your account will not automatically cancel it. Please cancel your subscription through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store before deleting your account.
